Get to know a face that works to sell our product. Meet Drew Coleman, one of our enterprise account executives! We’re excited that we got to (virtually) sit down with him to share his story in this month’s Employee Spotlight. You’ll learn about his role at RoadSync, his career, interests, and more! Fun fact if we ever made a RoadSync action movie, he would have Matthew McConaughey cast as himself! Who would you like to see in the cast?
What is your role here at RoadSync, and what do you do on a day-to-day basis?
I’m an Enterprise Account Executive. My days usually consist of prospecting for new customers that will best fit RoadSync, while also checking in with my current customers to ensure their needs are met. Alongside that, I often try to connect with our product team to offer up any feedback or suggestions to enhance our product to support customer needs.
How did you first learn about RoadSync? What was RoadSync’s key selling feature to you?
When I was researching companies, RoadSync stuck out to me. I have a background in banking, finance, technology and some experience working in warehouses. While in college, I worked at a warehouse, and I had to call in fleet checks to Comcheck and EFS, which was just a tedious process. Once I discovered RoadSync, and how they made this process better through automation, it was a no-brainer that this was a company I wanted to work for. Now I love working here!
What are your hobbies outside of RoadSync?
I’m a big golfer, so you don’t have to convince me to play golf. I also enjoy traveling and hanging out with friends and family! COVID-19, unfortunately, slowed that down a little bit last year, but I have a couple of trips already planned for this year. I always tell people, rather than going on international travel, if you haven’t seen your backyard, I recommend doing that first. Telluride, Colorado, is one of my favorite places on earth. You’re in the mountains at about 10,000ft, surrounded by tons of wildlife. It’s just incredible!
What are three words to describe RoadSync?
I would describe RoadSync as nimble, strategic, and cutting-edge. We are nimble because we can pick up things quickly and enhance our product when needed to better fit our customers’ needs. We are strategic in the way we seek out opportunities in our industry. We have products on the way that will continue to increase our reach and target more audiences. We are cutting-edge because we are at the forefront of a technology that hasn’t been seen in our industry.
What are your hopes for our industry?
I would like to see RoadSync reach a wider audience and get our name out there. There’s a need for our products and services, and I would like to continue showcasing how our product has truly helped our customers. As the industry grows in its use of technology, I believe RoadSync will be able to capture a larger audience.
